The Town of Ocean City MD and the Roland E Powell Convention Center seeks a highly motivated individual to promote and sell the expanding Roland E Powell Convention Center as a destination for meetings, conventions, seminars and trade shows with the primary focus on the large group segment.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; and three to five years of progressively responsible sales experience preferably in destination, hotel or convention facility sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with office technology including MS office suite, presentation software and social media is required. Candidates must be able to travel and work weekends/evenings.
Valid driver’s license required. Post offer drug test required.
Minimum starting pay is $49,650+ depending on qualifications and experience. The Town of Ocean City offers a comprehensive benefits program.
