Group Tour Media (GTM) is seeking an experienced full-time Media Consultant to manage and build on an established territory. The candidate should have a solid understanding of how to package and promote both print and digital media within a niche market. Candidate can work remotely and does not need to be based in the Holland office. Relocation not paid.
Manage relationships with future/current clients within a regional territory.
Manage territory database. Attention to detail is a must.
Manage a minimum of 100 contacts weekly.
Attend and engage in face-to-face and virtual meetings with the Sales Director, company management and sales team conference calls.
Achieve all company assigned revenue goals/expectations.
Travel to required regional trade shows, plus possible sales trips — potentially five weeklong trips per year.
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree, with two years sales or group travel industry experience
Ability to process industry information and effectively communicate it to potential prospects, team members and industry professionals
Ability to calculate rates, discounts and percentages
High level of professionalism and ability to work well with others
Ability to work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, able to adapt and work in a deadline-driven environment
Positive, energetic attitude
Telecommuting is allowed.
