Visit Williamsburg serves as the Destination Marketing Organization for Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and highly driven CRM Database Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong database experience and a commitment to excellence.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Visit Williamsburg’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database system. The role works most closely with the marketing team but has assignments and responsibilities across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records for all business/attraction listings, including the regional visitor-related information
Research CRM for updates on dormant accounts from the past two years
Consistently outreach to businesses for updates to their listings, create new listings, and communicates to the team about businesses
Manages the CRM and extranet by implementation, development, troubleshooting, meetings and conference calls
Provides training of CRM to staff and partners
Develop and instruct end users on database management best practices
Liaison between the CRM vendor and the organization
Attends CRM and industry conferences and training to stay abreast of new technology and trends
Manages ticketing system and support hours with CRM vendor
Supports all departments with CRM reporting as directed by each department
Supports the CMS (content management system) with seasonal transitions, review and editing suggestions for accuracy, cleanup, support for SEO optimization, and blog ideas and drafting
Works with technology providers to develop and support events and marketing opportunities
Ensure seamless integration of the CRM with other business applications and tools

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a professional setting
3+ years’ experience with systems management/data management experience including work with CRM tools, online forms, spreadsheets and other data tools
Experience collaborating directly with sales, marketing, and business stakeholders
Knowledge of Simpleview highly preferred
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to engage with individual system users and industry partners
Technical expertise
Independent and self-motivated
Innovative and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong proactive verbal and written communication skills
